FAZAZ is the warmth of Morocco, the powerful sound of the lotar, catchy melodies and trance rhythms. A lively and contemporary repertoire to (re)discover as soon as possible!

The duo was born from the meeting between Guillaume Storchi, trained in particular during multiple stays in the Maghreb, and Léo Fabre-Cartier, a musician living between Morocco and France since 2012 and whose lotar master, Younes Baammi, is himself the disciple of the great Mohammed Rouicha, creator of this instrument in the 1970s and undisputed star in Morocco.

By presenting on stage original arrangements of compositions by Younes Baammi and Mohammed Rouicha, FAZAZ offers an immersion, in words and music, in the heart of the Amazigh song of the Middle Atlas, an unknown and yet so captivating music.

Since 2025, the FAZAZ tree has been growing on two branches:
- Without sound system and with natural skin percussion, FAZAZ Acoustic offers a light and intimate formula.
- With sound system and with electronic effects on the lotar and vocals, FAZAZ Fx offers a modern and festive formula.

These two sides of the FAZAZ duo are also offered in a trio version in collaboration with the singer Dounia Moumen.

Léo Fabre-Cartier: loutar, vocal
Guillaume Storchi: percussion, vocal
Dounia Moumen: vocal
